Tenacity Challenge Poster Starts Conversation

By Savaughn Vasconcelos (Correspondent) In 2017 and in prior years, Sharon High School has participated in the Latino and African American Tenacity Challenge, which is an academic contest that gives students scholarship money. Last year, the theme was the Black Lives Matter movement. One of the challenges for this event was for students to create a poster that reflected this theme.

Staff Editorial: Time for a New SHS

On November 6th, the town will come together in a critical meeting that will determine the  future of the Sharon’s attempts to get money from the state to renovate or build a new Sharon High School building. It is important that all Sharon students exercise their right to come and support an issue that affects them directly. The Talon firmly believes that Sharon High School simply needs to be updated and it is long past the time to do so.
