By Jack Zinman (Sports Editor) This past Sunday, the Patriots and Rams faced off in a game that was hyped up ever since the AFC Championship game went final two weeks ago, and it is very safe to say that the game did not live up to the hype. The game started out with the Patriots receiving the kick, and Cordarrelle Patterson had an exciting return of 39 yards to set up the Patriots at their own 40 and maybe, just maybe showed us a preview of how the game would go. But it unfortunately did not. The Pats would drive down the field but Tom Brady would throw an interception to Corey Littleton on a horrible throw. Once again, that play could possibly foreshadow an exciting game, but it didn’t. After the exciting opening three minutes, the slugfest began.
